Fireball is a spiced black tea in loose leaf sachets, blended with orange peel, cloves and cinnamon, with no alcohol in it at all. One box holds 4 sachets, 1 sachet makes an 8 ounce cup, and the brewing instructions come in the box.

This is the blend people ask me about by name, and I named it for the cinnamon heat, not the whiskey. It is warming rather than burning, and it is the first thing I pour once the weather turns.

Drop 1 sachet in a cup and add hot water. The loose leaf is already measured, so there is no infuser to fill and nothing left in the bottom of your mug. For iced, brew it hot, let it cool, then pour it over ice.

What's inside

  • Loose leaf black tea with orange peel, cloves and cinnamon, pre-measured into sachets
  • 4 sachets per box
  • 1 sachet per 8 ounce cup
  • Contains caffeine, black tea base
  • No alcohol
  • Brewing instructions in the box

Good for

Chilly mornings, cozy evenings, a fall or holiday table, an alcohol-free happy hour, and a stocking stuffer for anyone who orders the cinnamon one every time.

The details

  • 4 sachets per box. 1 sachet per 8 ounce cup, so a box is 4 cups.
  • Contains caffeine. The base is black tea, so this is a morning or early afternoon cup rather than an evening one.
  • No alcohol. The name is about the cinnamon heat. Nothing in the box is alcoholic and nothing needs to be added to it.
  • Tastes like orange and warm spice. Orange peel first, then clove and cinnamon over a black tea base. Honey or a splash of milk rounds it off if you want it softer.
  • No infuser needed. The loose leaf is measured into the sachet for you, so there is no scooping and no mess.
  • Packed in Cibolo, Texas. Orders take 2 to 4 days to pack before they ship.

The other spiced blend on the shelf is Classic Chai, and the rest of the cozy ones are in fall tea gifts and cozy blends. Fireball is also one of the flavours you can pick inside Simple Pleasures, my tea party in a box, and every blend is on the loose leaf tea sachets page.

This is the blend I pour at my parties when the weather finally turns, packed in sachets so you can just add hot water.

Questions people ask

Is there alcohol in Fireball tea?

No. Fireball is a black tea blended with orange peel, cloves and cinnamon, and the name is about the cinnamon heat rather than the whiskey. There is no alcohol in the sachets and none needs to be added.

Does Fireball tea have caffeine?

Yes. The base is black tea, so it carries caffeine the way any black tea does. Keep it for the morning or the early afternoon, and pick something from the herbal shelf if you want an evening cup.

What does Fireball tea taste like?

Orange first, then warm spice. The orange peel is bright at the front, the cloves and cinnamon settle in behind it, and the black tea holds it together. It is warming rather than sharp, and honey or a splash of milk softens it.

How many cups are in a box?

4 cups. One box holds 4 loose leaf sachets and 1 sachet makes an 8 ounce cup. Steep it to taste, then lift the sachet out.

Do I need a teapot or an infuser?

No. The loose leaf is already measured into a sachet, so you drop 1 in a cup, add hot water, and take it out when it tastes right. Brewing instructions come in every box.
