Our Monthly Virtual Tea Party is a hosted virtual tea party you join online from anywhere, about 75 minutes of tea, brewing tips, a game, and real conversation, on the last Monday of every month. A seat is $10, or $25 with a Tea and Games Goody Box mailed to you before the party with free shipping.

I started hosting tea parties in person because my own kitchen table was where my kids and I sat down and got honest with each other. The virtual party exists so distance stops being the reason someone misses it. You can be in San Antonio or in a small apartment 3 states away and still have a seat.

Come as you are. Brew whatever is already in your cupboard, or add the goody box and sip what everyone else is sipping. There is nothing to host, nothing to set up, and no local requirement. Just add hot water and find your chair.

Every party is alcohol-free, because the connection is the point and not the drink.

How does a virtual tea party work?

You buy a seat at the next monthly party and join online at the start time. For about 75 minutes I walk everyone through the tea, we play a game, and we use conversation prompts to talk. Brew what you have at home, or add the goody box so the tea and games arrive first.

Do I have to live near San Antonio to join?

No. The monthly party is online and open from anywhere. My in-person tea parties, china rentals, and private bookings are the local side of what I do, and those sit on the Tea Parties page instead.

Do I need to buy tea to come?

No. A seat is all you need, and you can brew whatever is already in your cupboard. If you would rather sip what everyone else is sipping, choose the seat with the Tea and Games Goody Box, or join a subscription club, which includes your seat every month.

What is the difference between the $10 seat and the $25 goody box?

The $10 seat is the party on its own. The $25 option is the same seat plus a Tea and Games Goody Box mailed to you before the party with free shipping, so the tea and the games are in your hands when we start. Order the goody box by the cutoff date at the top of this page.

Is the virtual tea party included with a tea subscription?

Yes. Monthly Tea Blossom members get a seat at the party every month. Seasonal Tea Society members get every monthly party as well, plus a pass to bring one guest along each month.
