A tea party in a box is a gift box with the whole tea party already inside: loose leaf tea sachets, sugar cubes, a teaspoon, a cookie, tea facts and games, and in most boxes a teacup and saucer. It is not a tea sampler. I pack these in Cibolo, Texas, sized from one person to a table of eight, so whoever opens one only has to add hot water.
I started with live tea parties in San Antonio, and guests kept asking where they could buy the tea. The boxes came out of that question, and then out of wanting to send a whole afternoon to someone who could not be at the table. Pick by the moment rather than the price and the rest of it sorts itself out.
