What this place is

Tea, served slowly, on purpose

The Tea Blossom is a small tea shop inside Trader’s Town, a curated vendor marketplace on McCullough. Sixteen feet by ten feet of it. Every inch intentional.

You order a pot instead of a paper cup. You sit down. You stay longer than you planned to, which is exactly what I was hoping for when I signed the lease.

And you do not need to know a single thing about tea to walk in. Really. Point at a name you like the sound of and we will take it from there. That is the whole idea, elegance made accessible, no velvet rope, no quiz at the door.

What goes on in the shop

Four reasons to come by

Some people come for one cup on a hard Tuesday. Some people rent the whole corner for a birthday. Both are welcome, and both get the good china.

Walk in for tea

About twenty five drinks to open with, hot pots and iced pours, black, green, white, oolong, herbal, chai, and a few blends I made up because they needed to exist. Food stays simple on purpose, cold tea sandwiches made here and sweets from a local bakery (we are a tea shop, not a bake shop, and we would rather be excellent at one thing).

Book a tea party here

Birthdays, bridal showers, mother and daughter afternoons, a retirement send-off, a book club that got serious about snacks. Small private tea parties hosted right in the shop, with the hosting handled so you get to be a guest at your own party. Tell me the occasion and how many seats you need.

Shop teas & gifts

Loose leaf sachets, teaware, mugs, and gift boxes you can carry out the door the same day. If you have been buying from us online, this is the shelf version of that, and yes, you can finally smell things before you commit.

Events & classes

Tastings, steeping classes for people who have been doing it wrong for years (no judgment, most of us were), book club nights, and the occasional game night that gets competitive. The calendar fills in as we go, so check it often.

The Tea Blossom Club

Three loose leaf blends I choose myself, twelve sachets in all, plus a cookie, sugar cubes, and a recipe card, at your door every month. It is the same tea we pour in the shop, which means you can keep the feeling going on the days you cannot get to McCullough.

Tea has never really been about the tea. It is about having somewhere to sit down, and someone glad you came. We saved you a seat on McCullough.
