Hibiscus Herbal Tea is a Caffeine-Free hibiscus tea in loose leaf sachets, tart and ruby-red in the cup, good hot or over ice. One box holds 4 sachets, 1 sachet makes an 8 ounce cup, and the brewing instructions come with it.
This is the one I pour at my parties for guests who cannot have caffeine, and it never gets treated like the consolation option. It comes out a deep red, it tastes close to cranberry, and it holds its own next to a black tea.
Drop 1 sachet in a cup and add hot water. The loose leaf is already measured, so there is no infuser to fill and no leaves in the bottom of your mug. For iced tea, brew it hot, let it cool, then pour it over ice. It keeps its color.

The details
-
4 sachets per box. 1 sachet per 8 ounce cup, so a box is 4 cups.
-
Caffeine-Free. Hibiscus is an herbal infusion with no tea leaf in it, so there is nothing here to keep you up.
-
Tastes tart. Close to cranberry. Honey, sugar, or a slice of orange rounds it off if tart is not your thing.
-
No infuser needed. The loose leaf is measured into the sachet for you.
-
Known for natural vitamin C. Hibiscus is known for its tart taste and its natural vitamin C. It is a drink, not a supplement.
-
Packed in Cibolo, Texas. Brewing instructions are in the box.
Pour it beside the rest of the herbal and Caffeine-Free teas, or try Christmas Cranberry, my holiday blend built on the same hibiscus. The whole shelf is on the loose leaf tea sachets page.
This is the blend I pour when I want something bright in the cup and nothing keeping me up after, packed in sachets so you can just add hot water.
Questions people ask
Does hibiscus tea have caffeine?
No. Hibiscus is an herbal infusion with no tea leaf in it, so there is no caffeine at all. That makes it an easy evening cup and an easy pour for a guest who is cutting back.
What does hibiscus tea taste like?
Tart and bright, close to cranberry, with a deep ruby color in the cup. If tart is not your thing, honey, sugar, or a slice of orange rounds it off without covering the flavor.
How many cups are in a box?
4 cups. One box holds 4 loose leaf sachets and 1 sachet makes an 8 ounce cup. Steep to taste, then take the sachet out.
Can I make iced hibiscus tea with these sachets?
Yes. Brew it hot the way you normally would, let it cool, then pour it over ice. It holds its ruby color and it tastes good plain or with a little honey.
Do I need a tea infuser or a strainer?
No. The loose leaf is already measured into a sachet, so you drop 1 in a cup, add hot water, and lift it out when it tastes right. No mess, no measuring.
